7th – 9th March 2024 – Devon

For our Devon trips we’ll be based on Dartmoor which gives us a full range of rivers from easy beginner rivers such as the Lower Dart or Lower Tavy, through to more challenging intermediate options such as the Walkham or Lower Plym as well as estrablished classics for the experts such as the Erme or Upper Dart. We also have the option of heading north to Exmoor for the Barle and East Lyn.

Accommodation

We always have exclusive use of the bunkhouse so you know that everyone in the bunkhouse is also on the trip. Most people do stay at the bunkhouse, but no problem at all if you would prefer to arrange your own accommodation (in which case the accommodation cost will be taken off the amount you pay).

For this trip, we’ll be staying at the Shallowford Farm. This modern bunkhouse is 10 minutes from the Dart and in the centre of Dartmoor – giving easy access to the usual favourites on all sides of the moor.

Experience needed

2 star/British Canoeing Paddle Explore Aware or equivalent standard. Neither previous whitewater experience nor a roll are necessary.
